On Friday, 9 August 2024, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Prienų district municipality, on the Stakliškės––Butrimonys regional road (kilometre 1.15), a Belarus Belarus-300 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Belarus, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.40‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
