On Wednesday, 14 August 2024, in the evening at around 22:00, in Plungės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with P. Genio street, a collision with a moped occurred. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (18 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
