On Thursday, 15 August 2024, in the evening at 19:10, in Vilniaus district municipality, Žalesos village, on Žalesos street, at the junction with Briedžių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a light quad bike and a Toyota Corolla Verso. One person was injured — a 14-year-old passenger of a light quad bike (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 14-year-old driver of a light quad bike (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence.
