On Sunday, 18 August 2024, in the evening at around 19:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Bernatonių village, on Ąžuolų al., at the junction with Tvenkinio al., a e-scooter hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 9-year-old driver of a e-scooter, who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
