On Thursday, 14 March 2024, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Druskininkų street near No. 4, a Chevrolet hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 46-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (29 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
