On Sunday, 1 September 2024, in the morning at 7:44, in Kauno district municipality, Lapių town, on Antano Merkio street, an Audi A4 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
