On Tuesday, 17 September 2024, in the evening at 21:10, in Vilniaus district municipality, Paliuliškių village, on Paliuliškių street, at the junction with Saulėtoji street, a BMW 3ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
