On Thursday, 10 October 2024, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Antakalnio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 68), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Swift (31 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
