On Tuesday, 22 October 2024, in the evening at 18:42, in Šiaulių district municipality, Ginkūnų village, on Žeimių street near No. 7, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a BMW 318d. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the BMW 320, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
