On Monday, 28 October 2024, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Prienų district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 1, at the junction with Greimų street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Fiat 500 registered in Norway and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Fiat (5 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.82‰ blood alcohol).
