On Tuesday, 5 November 2024, in the evening at 17:30, in Šiaulių district municipality, Aleksandrijos village, on V. Matulionio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Honda Accord and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Honda (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
