On Saturday, 9 November 2024, in the morning at around 10:00, in Vilnius, on J. Treinio street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Land Rover and a Lexus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Land Rover (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. The 20-year-old driver of the Lexus had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
