On Saturday, 9 November 2024, in the evening at 21:38, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Šiluva–Kaulakiai–Berteškiai regional road (kilometre 13.08), a Volvo XC70 registered in Norway ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
