On Friday, 30 August 2024, in the afternoon at 14:11, in Kelmės district municipality, Mažūnų village, on the Pagojis–Butkiškė–Kražiai regional road (kilometre 1.95), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed.
