On Monday, 9 December 2024, in the evening at around 17:00, in Vilnius, on Gurių street near No. 81, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Transit and a Mazda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Ford (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
