On Wednesday, 18 December 2024, in the evening at 21:40, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Stiklo street near No. 4, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (29 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
