On Friday, 20 December 2024, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Utenos district municipality, on Molėtų street near No. 72, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Opel (33 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.99‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
