On Monday, 23 December 2024, in the morning at 7:14, in Vilnius, on Baltupio street, at the junction with Ateities street, a Toyota RAV4 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 58-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 54-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Toyota (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
