On Saturday, 28 December 2024, at night at 4:45, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 730 d and a Hyundai Elantra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
