On Tuesday, 31 December 2024, at night at around 23:00, in Šiauliai, on Varpo street, at the junction with Aušros al., a Chevrolet Lacetti registered in Uzbekistan hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk.
