On Wednesday, 1 January 2025, at night at around 2:00, in Palanga, on Vingio street near No. 20A, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
