On Friday, 3 January 2025, in the evening at 17:45, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 132.65), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3, a BMW 5ER Reihe and an Opel Meriva. No one was hurt in the accident.
