On Saturday, 4 January 2025, in the evening at 22:10, in Joniškio district municipality, on Livonijos street near No. 57, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Citroen C4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Citroen. He was drunk (1.57‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
