On Wednesday, 8 January 2025, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 128, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Iveco and a Temsa. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Iveco (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
