On Sunday, 12 January 2025, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 17.70), a Saab 9-3 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Saab (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
