On Monday, 6 January 2025, in the evening at around 20:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant, a Volkswagen Polo registered in Finland and an AP. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
