On Sunday, 26 January 2025, in the evening at 22:30, in Elektrėnų municipality, Geibonių village, on Saulėtekio street, at the junction with Liepų street, a BMW 520D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the BMW (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.37‰ blood alcohol).
