On Tuesday, 28 January 2025, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Girstupio street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fusion and a BMW 318. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Ford (50 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
