On Friday, 31 January 2025, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, on Laisvės street, at the junction with Geležinkeliečių street, a Volkswagen Passat hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
