On Saturday, 1 February 2025, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Elektrėnų municipality, Balceriškių village, on Geležinkelio street, a Scania ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Scania (29 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
