On Sunday, 2 February 2025, in the evening at 22:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, Saviečių village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 68), a DAF XF 95.430 registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the DAF (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). The DAF had recorded faults (padangų). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
