On Tuesday, 4 February 2025, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 75, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW (21 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
