On Sunday, 9 February 2025, in the afternoon at 13:43, in Panevėžio district municipality, Smilgių farmstead, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 23), at a public-transport stop, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
