On Saturday, 15 February 2025, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Drąsučiai–Šiupyliai–Gruzdžiai regional road (kilometre 1.60), a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance.
