On Tuesday, 11 February 2025, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Minties street near No. 15, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Fiat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
