On Tuesday, 18 February 2025, in the evening at 21:30, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr., at the junction with Geležinkelio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a car and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of a car (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
