On Wednesday, 26 February 2025, in the morning at around 7:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Kuršėnai–Dirvonėnai–Raudėnai–Tryškiai regional road (kilometre 7), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
