On Monday, 17 February 2025, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 103.01), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF and a Citroen C1. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the DAF (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
