On Wednesday, 5 March 2025, in the morning at around 10:00, in Panevėžys, on Gilių street, at the junction with Gervuogių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla registered in Sweden and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
