On Saturday, 8 March 2025, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 47, a Ford S-MAX hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 39-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. He was drunk (2.44‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
