On Thursday, 13 March 2025, in the evening at 21:30, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 114.35), a Mercedes-Benz hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 40-year-old pedestrian, who was walking at night without reflectors (light, hi-vis vest).
