On Sunday, 23 March 2025, in the evening at 18:10, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Trušelių village, on Gilijos street, at the junction with Agilos street, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (2.77‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
