On Monday, 24 March 2025, in the afternoon at 14:09, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Pavenčių street, at the junction with Taikos street, a Mitsubishi Grandis hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (50 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
