On Saturday, 29 March 2025, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Kalvelių village, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 15.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe, a Jeep Liberty, a Mitsubishi ASX and a Honda Accord Sedan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
