On Saturday, 5 April 2025, in the evening at 19:15, in Šiauliai, on P. Višinskio street, at the junction with Vytauto street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane and a Mercedes-Benz E 220 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
