On Sunday, 6 April 2025, in the evening at 19:50, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Eglių street, at the junction with Naujoji street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.30‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
