On Thursday, 10 April 2025, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 36.55), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Schmitz SCS 24 registered in Latvia, a Volkswagen Touran registered in Germany and a Volvo FH registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Schmitz (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
