On Saturday, 12 April 2025, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street, at the junction with Breslaujos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW X3 3.0D and a Skoda Yeti. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the BMW (25 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
