On Monday, 14 April 2025, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno district municipality, Ramučių village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 10.22), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Signum and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
