On Sunday, 11 May 2025, in the evening at 18:20, in Šiaulių district municipality, Raizgių village, on Ajerų street, at the junction with Pakrantės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a Toyota RAV4 and a BMW 750. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.77‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. The 38-year-old driver of the BMW 750 was drunk (1.83‰). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
